2 months in: Bullet Journal + Erin Condren notebook update!

In July, I told you about how I had traded my Erin Condren Life Planner for an Erin Condren notebook + the bullet journaling system. And I am still totally smitten with the process. I thought I'd show you how my process has changed a little.

This is still the same notebook, I just switched out covers.

Hello, September! I use the monthly view to separate each month in the notebook. I carefully snipped them out and put them back in. I am kinda irritated that the monthly calendar is no longer an option in the take-note notebooks. I'm not sure what my system will look like once I run out in December. (Later in the post, you'll see the new removable calendar.)

I use a lot of stickers. They keep me realistic about how much time I have. I have room for two stickers, so that means that's all I can fit in an evening. Easy peasy. I have my yoga schedule in for the month (BFW) and the little running man stickers from Lydia's  INKY Planner Supplies.

I start each month with a review of my core desired feelings (I LOVE the Desire Map) and how I want to live them over the course of the month.

This is my overall legend. I do my own thing here and there, but the basic bullet journal icons + a few of my own, and I've got it under control!

I have embraced the weekly to-do list. I was finding that I was writing the same things many days in a row just so I wouldn't forget them. I love that I can write it one place, know I've got everything important, and then just put the items on the days I actually planned on doing them. (Also, WOO. Getting ready for Yoga Teacher Training next week means this week is a a really busy one.)

Then I move on to the workout and eats plan for the week. My plan and Nathan's schedule. Oh - and I put washi tape on the side of the weekly page so I can just flip through and find it easily.

And now, the daily page! Food journal. Yoga note. Then the tasks for the day. (It was a busy day since I had the day off from work and I didn't do any coaching work at all this weekend!)

I am in love with this. In love. I also keep my daily meditation notes, my reading notes, and lists of quotes right here in the daily pages. I love carrying everything around in one notebook.

The down side? I'm going to go through these much quicker than I would a life planner. At the rate I'm going, each notebook will last about 4 months. That's okay, though. I just won't be committed to a cover as long.

Since I walked you through the rest of the notebook the last time, I thought I'd show you my favorite supplies.

I use Stadtler 0.3mm for most things I do with work or coaching stuff. EXCEPT in my planner. For some reason, my planner just calls for PaperMate Flairs. I love them. They write nice and thick and don't bleed through. I also use a fine black Bic Mark-It to write on my stickers.

Yes, stickers. I go through a ton of these. Thankfully, I ordered a ton of these forever ago, so I don't have a shortage of them.

I am also absolutely in love with the running and yoga stickers from INKY. In love.

The other reason I love these stickers? I am using one of the removable calendars as a family calendar in the kitchen. And, since the pages are smaller, the traditional stickers are too big for the boxes. But the INKY stickers? Just right.
